Project Coordinator I, II, III

Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator position is responsible for processing all submittals for all projects. In addition the project coordinator may be asked to procure materials, coordinate deliveries, schedule vendors/subcontractors, etc.

Duties and responsibilities

· Create and populate project specific submittal folders and subfolders
· Build and maintain submittal log for each project and master submittal log for all projects
·Process submittals and resubmittals electronically through email or construction project management software
· Take photos of samples submitted to the office and upload to Procore for processing
· Distribute submittals to project manager, person(s) specified by project manager or appropriate discipline associate(s) for review and comments
· Organize, prioritize and distribute submittals pending review and review completed
· Coordinate shop drawings between subcontractors as necessary (i.e. – Ductwork shop drawings sent to Fire Sprinkler)
· Follow up with assigned reviewer on/near due and past due submittals
· Address, research and resolve submittal related issues
· Provide paper copy and/or electronic copy of project submittal log reports to project manager and/or construction administrator per specified schedule and/or as requested
· Accommodate project specific submittal requirements
· Stay in communication with subcontractors and/or PM team and attend project related and team meetings as needed and
· This position will also assist the warehouse management team in keeping all C&C equipment organized and accounted for.

Qualifications

· Relevant work experience, preferred
· Degree in Construction Management, Business or similar relevant field, preferred
· Experience in the Senior Living Market, preferred
· Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize routine work and responsibilities
to ensure deadlines are met Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Procore & ProPlanner experience, preferred
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate and coordinate workload with team members
· Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents
· Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail
