Ribbon Cutting At Lutheran Social Ministries

C & C Construction Management Inc. was proud to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing of Lutheran Senior LIFE at Union on Monday, June 9th, in collaboration with Lutheran Social Ministries. This state-of-the-art 13,600 square foot Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) center is designed to support seniors in Union County, helping them maintain independence and age comfortably at home, all while accessing comprehensive healthcare and wellness services. The acronym “LIFE” stands for Living Independently for the Elderly.

Located on the ground floor of the recently renovated Muhlenberg Medical Arts Complex on Randolph Road in Plainfield, NJ, Lutheran Senior LIFE at Union marks a significant step forward in senior care. C & C Construction Management Inc. partnered with Lutheran Social Ministries from the project's inception, providing seamless architectural, MEP/FP engineering, and interior design services throughout this impactful renovation.

The Lutheran Senior LIFE program follows a nationally recognized model that sets the benchmark for elder healthcare, especially for those with limited income. This initiative has allowed thousands of seniors to stay in their homes and communities instead of moving into nursing facilities. The PACE program offers a wide range of medical and therapeutic services, including primary and specialty care, therapies (physical, occupational, speech), laboratory work, diagnostic testing, and medication management. Additionally, it provides transportation, nutritious meals, and various social and recreational activities—all aimed at promoting active, engaged, and healthy aging.

This new facility in Union represents Lutheran Social Ministries’ second PACE center in New Jersey. The first, established in 2010, is Lutheran Senior LIFE in Jersey City, servicing Hudson County and situated within the Liberty Health Medical Office Building near Jersey City Medical Center.
