Past Glulam Beam Construction

At C & C Construction Management, we’re always excited to incorporate innovative building materials that enhance both performance and design. One of those materials is glulam beams (short for glued laminated timber).

Glulam beams are engineered wood products made by bonding layers of lumber together with high-strength adhesives. This process creates beams that are not only incredibly strong and durable, but also versatile in shape and size—allowing for long spans, open spaces, and beautiful architectural features.

On a past project, C & C Construction had the opportunity to use glulam beams to help construct a grand rehabilitation room. The result was a bright, open, and welcoming space that combined structural integrity with warm, natural aesthetics—perfectly supporting both the functional needs and the overall experience of the space.
