Welcome to the transformation of Winchester Gardens, a distinguished Life Plan Community in Essex County, New Jersey. Originally built in 1927, this historic campus is known for its striking hand-cut stone exterior—a signature element that posed a unique challenge during construction.
When expanding Winchester Gardens, C & C Construction Management faced the task of seamlessly blending the new addition with the original architecture. Through collaboration with various manufacturers, we sourced a stone quarry capable of matching the century-old craftsmanship, ensuring a flawless transition between old and new.
Beyond the addition, this multiphase project encompassed extensive renovations across assisted living, memory support, long-term care, sub-acute, and independent living areas. To enhance the resident experience, we constructed a brand-new dining area, bistro and bar, art center, library, fitness facility, theater, salon, and spa—delivering a comprehensive upgrade in both comfort and amenities.
