Field Project Manager (Project Lead)

Job purpose

The Field Project Manager position is responsible for masterminding, outlining and developing projects. Project Managers ensure the project remains on time and on budget and help motivate team members to hit their goals.

Duties and responsibilities

· Ensure all OSHA, C&C, and Site-Specific safety policies and procedures are in place and followed by all personnel and visitors entering the site.

· Creating & maintaining project schedules.

· Developing comprehensive logistics plans.

· Procurement of all necessary permits from local authorities.

· Oversight & coordination of all drawings & specification documents.

· Work with project team to complete submittals, shop drawings, and RFI’s in a timely manner to ensure there are no project delays.

· Managing project scope and changes.

· Setting goals and tracking project performance.

· Managing resources to achieve project objectives.

· Coordination with owners, design team, field staff, office support staff, subcontractors and local governing authorities to ensure projects are completed as scheduled.

· Provide project status reports and updates to Owners / Design Team.

· Finalize as-builts, close out documents, and final commissioning.

· Apart of project close-out team

Qualifications

· Degree in Construction Management, Business or similar relevant field, preferred

· Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents

· OSHA 30 Certified

· Experience with Procore, preferred

· Experience in the Senior Living Market, preferred

· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

· Proficient with MS Office Outlook, Work, Excel and Project

Working conditions

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and risk of vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Senior Project Manager

Job purpose

The Senior Project Manager position provides a macro-level view of assigned projects, descopes the project, determines long-lead items and manages project costs.

Duties and responsibilities

· Meet with estimating prior to bid submission and review bid for discrepancies (Misc items they may not have picked up)

· Participate in the contract negotiations and change in scope budgeting with the client and ensure that all procedures governing the review and approval of contracts are followed before signing.

· Develops comprehensive logistics plans.

· Work with project lead to schedule subcontractors

· Attend project update meetings with owners/architects/engineers

· Assist project lead in creating and maintaining project schedules.

· Setting goals and tracking project performance.

· Managing resources to achieve project objectives.

· Identify solution to any problem which might impede progress of the project or adversely affect customer relations. This includes soliciting the help and personal involvement of management in the solution of unusual technical problems encountered in the progress of work.

· Provide project status reports and updates to Owners / Design Team.

· Enforce C&C/OSHA safety rules & regulations onsite

Qualifications

· Degree in Construction Management, Business or similar relevant field, preferred

· Field experience, 7+ years.

· Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents

· OSHA 30 Certified

· Experience with Procore, preferred

· Experience in the Senior Living Market, preferred

Assistant Project Manager

Job purpose

The Assistant Project Manager position assists the Project Management team in the operations of a construction site.

Duties and responsibilities

· Execute tasks received from Project Lead

     o Assist Senior Project Manager in determining long-lead items

     o Assist Project Lead with change orders

     o Assist Project Lead with RFIs

     o Assist Project lead with all onsite tasks

     o Assist Small Projects Division with current projects

· Enforce C&C safety policies onsite (Coordinate closely with C&C safety officer)

· Take delivery of C&C materials to site, all other trades are responsible for taking their own deliveries

· Prepare 2 week look ahead for project update meetings

· Take meeting minutes, if necessary

· Coordinate/deliver materials to different C&C sites if necessary

· Assigned to one project, only move to another project to provide coverage if needed

· Apart of project close-out team

Qualifications

Submittal Coordinator

Job purpose

The Submittal Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing a projects submittal process from start of project to the end.

Duties and responsibilities

· Receive submittals and resubmittals electronically through email or construction project management software and/or product sample

· Route submittals to project manager, person(s) specified by project manager or appropriate discipline associate(s) for review and comments

· Create and populate project specific submittal folders and subfolders

· Maintain submittal log for each project and master submittal log for all projects

· Scan to project submittal folder all reviewed submittal documents and (as applicable) photograph submittal products

· Return reviewed submittals as directed

· Organize, prioritize and distribute submittals pending review and review completed

· Follow up with assigned reviewer on near due and past due submittals

· Address, research and resolve submittal related issues

· Provide paper copy and/or electronic copy of project submittal log reports to project manager and/or construction administrator per specified schedule and/or as requested

· Accommodate project specific submittal requirements

· Daily interaction with coworkers and as needed with contractors and/or construction managers

· Attend project related and team meetings as needed

· This position will also assist on the warehouse management team in keeping all equipment organized and accounted for.

Qualifications

· Relevant work experience

· Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize routine work and responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· ProPlanner experience, preferred

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate and coordinate workload with team members

· Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents

· Experience in the Senior Living Market, preferred

· Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail
